AÍDA CALAMERA EN LOS ANGELES BY CARROLL PARCHER

On saturday, Oct. 1, Aída Calamera, the noted mezzo-soprano who has sung more than 200 concerts in her native Argentina and in Europe, with her time devoted to opera seasons between concerts, will be singing in Los Angeles.

Her brother, Angelo Calamera, once a mainstay in our composing room, has been attempting to get his sister to come to the United States on a concert tour for a number of year.
